The rest of the market mails a postcard. We mail a panel: 24 inches wide, the full width of the roll, and 36 inches tall. Printed true to scale, on the same material as the wallpaper.

The whole picture
A swatch is a corner. A panel is the pattern.
Both views are the same print, at the same scale. The small window is an 8.5 × 10 inch sample. Everything outside it stays invisible until the paper is actually big enough.

Bigger is better.
Scale, repeat, and the light in your own room. A small sample can only guess at all three.

Scale
A motif that looks delicate on an 8-inch swatch can take over a room, or disappear on the wall. Three feet of the real pattern tells you which.

The repeat
Large-scale prints do not fit on a postcard. On a 48-inch repeat, even our own small sample is scaled down so the design fits. A preview panel is printed at full size, across the full 24-inch width of the roll.

Your light
Tape the panel up beside the paint, the sofa, and the trim. Morning, afternoon, and lamp light are the test a screen cannot run.

A Painted Paper sample is 8.5" × 10". A preview panel is 24" × 36": the full width of a roll and three feet of the design. Side by side, the panel is about ten times the paper.

Most wallpaper samples are a small swatch. On a large print, that swatch is a fragment of the motif, or a reduced picture of it. You can love the colors and still be wrong about the scale. A preview panel is printed at the real size, so the repeat and the proportions are the ones that will be on the wall.
