What kind of wallpaper is best for bathrooms?
Our peel-and-stick wallpaper for the bathroom can work, but we typically recommend our pre-pasted, faux grasscloth papers, or traditional wallpapers for full bathrooms because of the level of moisture the wallpaper will be exposed to.
Do I need to worry about steam warping the wallpaper in my bathroom?
Nope! It’s still worth being careful with water splashes, and we recommend running the exhaust fan during and after showers. Or, crack a window. Steam is no problem. Standing moisture with nowhere to go is another story.
Can I put bathroom wallpaper in my shower?
No. Our bathroom wallpaper is meant to go outside the shower and tub surround. Repeated splashes will break down any paper product.
Is this wallpaper technically waterproof?
No. However, it’s water-resistant enough to hold up just fine in your bathroom if you avoid getting it directly wet and do a good job ventilating your bathroom during and after showers.
Am I able to install bathroom wallpaper on my own?
Totally. It’s so easy. Peel-and-stick is the most forgiving option because you can reposition as you go. But even though the pre-pasted and traditional styles need a bit more precision, anyone can do it themselves. Check out our full installation instructions before starting.
Will removing the wallpaper damage my walls?
Peel-and-stick is a renter’s dream because you can customize your space and then take the wallpaper down without damaging paint or drywall. Pre-pasted is strippable; you’ll just have to reactivate the adhesive using water. Traditional wallpaper is permanent, so you may take some paint with the wallpaper if you attempt to remove it.
