Give Guests Something to Remember With Powder Room Wallpaper From Painted Paper

The powder room is the perfect place to be bold. It’s a small space, there’s zero steam, and the only people who use it are guests who notice every little detail. That means fewer rules and more freedom with color and patterns than any other room in your home.

Our powder room wallpaper makes it easy to create something unforgettable. Our products are PVC-free, eco-friendly, and printed to order here in the US on premium-grade substrates. You can choose based on how involved and permanent you want the project to be:

  • Peel-and-stick: Easy to put on and tear down. The go-to style for renters. It has its own adhesive built in so you just put it on the wall. You can even reposition it if needed.
  • Pre-pasted: Nearly as easy to install and remove. Its adhesive is activated with water. The wallpaper itself is built from renewable fiber with up to 100% post-consumer recycled content.
  • Traditional: This is real wallpaper, meaning you need a separate adhesive and a roller for application. The payoff is a permanent bond that looks stunning years down the road.

Every style at Painted Paper is available in sample if you want to see what looks best in your powder room before committing to a full order. Your purchase is protected by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, too. Shop now and see what keeps customers coming back for more.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use bold patterns in a powder room?

Why not? This is the place to take design risks! You’ll get so many compliments on how the space looks when guests use it.

Should I wrap the full powder room or do an accent wall?

We think powder rooms look best when the entire room is wrapped. They’re pretty small, so an accent wall would end up getting overwhelmed by all the blank walls.

Do I need to worry about moisture warping the powder room wallpaper?

Nope - there’s never enough steam in a powder room to worry about. Plus, our wallpaper is water-resistant. That’s why it works just as well as bathroom wallpaper!

Which substrate works best for a powder room?

Any of the three is a good candidate. We recommend peel-and-stick if you’re a renter or simply the type to switch up your interior design every few years. It goes up and comes down effortlessly. Go with traditional if you never plan on changing the look, though. It’ll look the most professional.

How do I install powder room wallpaper?

It depends on the substrate you choose. As we mentioned earlier, peel-and-stick is the simplest option. You can easily handle the installation yourself. Pre-pasted is fairly straightforward as well. You might want to hire an expert for traditional wallpaper. We have detailed installation guides for each of our substrates.

How much wallpaper does a powder room usually need?

Less than you’d think. Every powder room is different, though, so the only way to know for sure is to measure your walls. Then, calculate how many rolls you’d need to order to fill the wall. We sell rolls 13’ or 27’ long. Each is 24” wide. You need a 10-15% buffer for pattern matching and trimming. Ask our team for a recommendation on how much powder room wallpaper to order!
